The organizing committee for the 6th Asian Beach Games released a series of images depicting its mascots in motion on March 31 for the inter-continental event, which is scheduled to be hosted in the tropical city of Sanya from Nov 28 to Dec 6.

In these images, the cute mascot Yaya, an Eld's deer, is depicted to be taking part in 17 of the event's sports, displaying the vibrant and competitive spirit of the games, as well as extending warm invitations to people across the world.

The dynamic mascot images will be an important part of the visual elements for the event, and will be widely used in stadiums, market promotion, landscape engineering construction, and other publicity events, according to an official from the event's organizing committee.

As the first-ever inter-continental sport event to be held in Hainan province, the 6th Asian Beach Games will encompass 17 main events including surfing, beach soccer, beach kabaddi, beach wrestling and jujitsu, teqball, three on three basketball, dragon boat races, and powered paragliding.
