Asian Beach Games organizing committee donates anti-epidemic supplies

The organizing committee for the sixth Asian Beach Games, donated its first batch of anti-novel coronvairus epidemic supplies, which included disposable masks and gloves, to its host city of Sanya on Feb 19. 

The donation, worth 284,000 yuan ($40,638), included 43,000 masks and 30,000 pairs of gloves imported from Russia.

The committee launched a campaign to donate epidemic protection materials to all sectors of  society in the city right after the novel coronavirus outbreak, with many enterprises in the city responding. Work for the second batch of donations is being carried out smoothly.

The sixth Asian Beach Games is the only intercontinental games to be held in China this year and is set to be held in the southern Chinese tropical city from Nov 28 to Dec 6.
