Five new-type Fuxing high-speed bullet trains with WiFi connectivity were shipped to Hainan by ferry on Jan 31, and will start operation on the island's circular railway line in February.
The CR300AF is a newly developed bullet train with completely independent intellectual property rights.
The trains introduced to Hainan have a total length of 208.95 meters and are made up of eight cars, including one first-class and seven second-class cars, capable of transporting 613 people.
The highest speed for the train is 250 kilometers per hour. It has a low operation noise and energy consumption and has high safety standards. It is also friendlier to the environment and can operate in a number of different conditions.
In addition to upgrading the side door structure and internal door designs and the addition of USB charging to the socket, the Fuxing train will also offer full WiFi coverage.
