The seven-day 2020 China (Hainan) International Marine Industry Exposition got underway on Aug 25 in Sanya, with both online and offline events organized to display the latest scientific achievements and share views.
The online part of the exposition attracted more than 500 companies that have brought the latest achievements in the fields of marine technology, equipment, tourism, and fisheries.
A number of new technologies, such as underwater acoustic communication, electronic navigational charts and maritime radar, unmanned ships, unmanned aerial vehicle marine monitoring technology, remote sensing ocean observation, as well as marine environmental protection technology, have already left a deep impression on visitors.
During the offline forums, experts from marine-related industries expressed their opinions on how to build an internationally competitive marine service system and explore smart ocean construction.
