'A Date with China' to build global consensus on BRI
The 2023 "A Date with China" international media tour was launched in Haikou, South China's Hainan province, on Monday.
As this year marks the 10th anniversary of the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative, the tour will focus on changes during the past decade and enhance the international community's consensus on the initiative.
The event will see foreign journalists, internet influencers, experts, diplomatic envoys and other foreign representatives visit Hainan and other places together with Chinese media reporters to explore the economic development and regional cooperation under the BRI.
