The 2023 China International Consumer Products Expo Fashion Week, scheduled for April 11 to 15 in Haikou, Hainan province, aims to help the Hainan Free Trade Port take the lead in global fashion.

More than 40 brands will release nearly 1,000 fashion items during the event.

As an important part of the expo, the fashion week aims to become a platform to debut the latest fashion items from around the world. This year's fashion week will integrate Hainan's natural elements with the theme "Azure coast".

Yang Shanhua, deputy director of the Hainan Bureau of International Economic Development, said this year's event organizer pays more attention to demonstrating Hainan's unique marine and rainforest cultures, as well as Li brocade.

"We hope to use the fashion week to showcase the charm of Hainan local culture and promote the integration of Hainan culture with the global fashion industry," Yang said.

There are three shows and one pop-up set for the fashion week, which will occupy nearly 6,000 square meters, including the main venue at the expo, the seaside runway, the showroom, and the pop-up runway near Haikou Century Bridge.

The four show venues feature multiple scenes, incorporating natural scenery, such as oceans and beaches. It aims to bring a diverse show experience to fashion trend-setters around the world.
