The COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters in many cities and counties in Hainan, including Haikou, Sanya, Danzhou, Dongfang, Wuzhishan, Ledong, and Chengmai, announced that classified management and control measures will no longer be implemented for personnel from other provinces on Dec 5.
The COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters suggested that tourists should carry out three days of self-health monitoring after arriving in Hainan, and avoid gatherings. In case of fever, dry cough, smell loss and other symptoms, tourists should seek medical advice in a timely manner.
