Relevant government departments in Haikou are preparing for the second China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), according to a meeting held on June 26. To date, 100 reception hotels have been arranged and 1,187 volunteers have been recruited.

In addition, Haikou will hold a series of supporting activities for tourism, cultural, and sports consumption during the expo so that exhibitors and tourists across the country can experience the city's charm.
Among them, Haikou will hold yacht exhibition activities. The main exhibition area will be located in the public dock yacht exhibition area of Haikou National Sailing Base, covering a total area of 180,000 square meters. Up to now, 50 yacht brands from 12 countries and regions, as well as about 170 yachts have been confirmed to participate in the exhibition.
In terms of public transportation security, Haikou has strengthened bus security by increasing the frequency of regular routes to eight minutes per shift, adjusting the direction and stops of some routes, as well as opening a dedicated line for the consumer expo.
In terms of communication, Haikou plans to arrange nine emergency communication vehicles to provide on-site support. After testing and optimization, the venue's 4G capacity can handle 126,000 users, while the 5G capacity can meet the communication signal needs of 90,000 users.
