Hainan reported 21 COVID-19 cases and one asymptomatic infection on April 11, of which 19 confirmed cases were transferred from asymptomatic infections, according to the Hainan Provincial Health Commission.
There were 18 COVID-19 cases reported by Sanya, one case reported by Lingshui Li autonomous county, and one imported case reported by Qionghai. The asymptomatic infection was also reported by Sanya.
From March 29 to April 11, Hainan province has reported 73 locally confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 10 in Haikou, 52 in Sanya, two in Danzhou, five in Qionghai, one in Lingshu, and three in Wanning. The province has reported 50 local asymptomatic cases during the period, including 44 in Sanya, four in Haikou, one in Qionghai, and one in Wanning. In addition, there were two imported asymptomatic cases reported by Qionghai.
