Hainan reports 2 COVID-19 cases on April 10

Hainan reported two new COVID-19 cases and five asymptomatic infections on April 10, according to the Hainan Provincial Health Commission. 

The two COVID-19 cases were both reported by Sanya, and both were transferred to confirmed cases from asymptomatic infections. 

In addition, the province reported four confirmed COVID-19 cases and three asymptomatic infections on April 9, as well as four COVID-19 cases and one asymptomatic infections on April 8.

From March 29 to April 10, Hainan province has reported 52 locally confirmed cases, including 10 in Haikou, 32 in Sanya, two in Danzhou, five in Qionghai, one in Lingshu, and two in Wanning. The province has reported 68 local asymptomatic cases in total, including 31 in Sanya, four in Haikou, one in Qionghai, one in Wanning, and two in Lingshui. In addition, there was one imported asymptomatic case reported by Qionghai.
