From Jan 7 to 11, the 2022 Global Gems & Jewelry Development Conference (GGJC) and Hainan International Jewelry Fair are being held in the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center.
During the conference, the Gems & Jewelry Trade Association of China signed an agreement with the Haikou municipal bureau of commerce, confirming that Haikou will serve as the permanent site of the GGJC.
With a focus on gold, natural diamonds, colored gemstones, creative jewelry designs and other jewelry-related categories as well as China's gems and jewelry industry base and Hainan and Hong Kong's jewelry industry, the GGJC invited representatives from leading institutions, groups, and enterprises throughout the global jewelry industry to give speeches, share information, and explore ideas collaboratively.
As one of the main supporting activities of the GGJC, the Hainan International Jewelry Fair is also being held at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center with a total exhibition area of 25,000 square meters.
The categories of exhibits include precious metals, diamonds, colored gemstones, jadeite, pearls, amber, and ornamental stones, which contribute to the event's theme of developing the jewelry industry. The fair also invited a national authoritative testing agency — the National Gemstone Testing Center — to conduct free testing on-site, making the fair an efficient, comprehensive and reliable platform for information exchanges and trade cooperation.
