Ocean Flower Island in Danzhou, northwest of Hainan province, covers an area of 7.8 square kilometers and is made up of three offshore islands. Hainan has spent 12 years converting it into a one-stop holiday destination offering food, accommodation, travel, shopping, entertainment, meetings, health facilities and culture.
The Hilton Hainan Ocean Flower Island officially opened to the public on Dec 3. The hotel covers an area of 57,000 square meters and serves as the main attraction of the Hainan Ocean Flower Island. It features 405 guest rooms, three specialty restaurants, two lounges, eight meeting rooms of different sizes, a food street with several Michelin-rated restaurants and a full range of cultural and entertainment facilities, making it ideal for leisure and social gatherings.

The hotel's unique twin towers offer up a perfect combination of both natural landscapes and eye-catching architecture when paired with the surrounding sea, while an 80-metre high viewing deck offers breathtaking scenery of the entire island.

With the opening of the hotel and constant improvement of the island's supporting services, Ocean Flower Island will seek to turn itself into an international tourist attraction, promote the development of the tourism industry in Danzhou and Western Hainan, and boost the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port and the international tourism and consumption center.
