On Nov 20, the fifth China Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data Hainan Summit Forum was held in Haikou, attracting many domestic experts and scholars in the fields of AI and big data to discuss the digital development process and aid in the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.
The forum, entitled "Digital Drives the Construction of Smart Hainan", is focused on hot topics such as digital economy, digital society and digital governance. More than 10 guests from major domestic big data enterprises such as China Telecom, Inspur Group, China Unicom, Huawei, Alibaba Cloud and Baidu were invited to deliver speeches, share digital development trends, and discuss big data applications in various industries.
Forum guests generally agreed that the topics most worthy of attention included how to develop public data resources, build a data ecology and promote the prosperity of Hainan's data element market.
The forum laid a solid foundation for more outstanding big data companies and cases from outside the province to come to Hainan. The appointment ceremony of expert consultants from the Hainan Big Data Industry Alliance was held on the same day, and the top 10 big data application cases in Hainan province in 2021 were selected.
The venue also set up the information innovations exhibition area and the AI big data interactive exhibition area, aiming to showcase the new information technology and its application innovations.
