Hainan shares new opportunities at 2nd Virtual Travel Retail Expo

The second Virtual Travel Retail Expo jointly hosted by The Moodie Davitt Report, Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development and FILTR.QINGWA, opened on Oct 11 and will last for five days. As the world's largest online travel retail exhibition, it has attracted over 5,000 registered visitors and 70 exhibitors from around the world.

This year's expo has set up a special "Hainan Discovery" exhibition area to provide visitors with a one-stop in-depth understanding of the Hainan Free Trade Port and an important platform for the China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE).

When visitors enter the "Hainan Discovery," all exhibitors' logo windows will appear in front of them. Visitors can click on the exhibitor they are interested in to learn more about the exhibitor's existing layout and development strategy in the Hainan FTP.

According to Han Shengjian, director of the Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development, since the construction of the Hainan FTP, the economic performance of Hainan has been extremely dynamic. In 2020, the economic growth in four areas such as talent introduction, new market entities, foreign capital introduction, and tax-free have improved significantly.

Next year, the 2022 China International Consumer Products Expo will be held from April 12 to 16 with hopes of attract more exhibitors from various countries to showcase more high-quality products.
