Travelers traveling from areas with locally transmitted COVID-19 cases in Heilongjiang province to Hainan are required to present two negative nucleic acid test results taken within 48 hours and go through a 14-day self-health monitoring.
Those without negative nucleic acid test reports are subject to on-site tests after arriving in Hainan, according to a public notice released by the Hainan Headquarters for COVID-19 Prevention & Control on Sept 26.
In addition, travelers should report to the residential communities (villages and towns) which they are staying in within 12 hours of arrival.
Immediate medical attention is available at nearby fever clinics in the case of a fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, loss of smell and taste and other suspicious symptoms.
Those without vaccinations are advised to receive vaccinations as soon as possible.
