On Sept 10, the Hainan Pavilion with the theme of "China's Hainan Island, World's Free Trade Port" was unveiled at the 18th China-ASEAN Expo, which opened in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

The Hainan Pavilion has a total area of about 100 square meters and shines with bright, fresh blue and white colors. It is decorated with elements of Hainan such as waves, coconut trees and shells.

The pavilion was set up to showcase the Hainan Free Trade Port's (FTP) preferential policies as well as the latest developments and wide variety of investment opportunities in key areas of Hainan in hopes to deepen cooperation with ASEAN members in fields including Nanfan crop breeding, deep-sea technology, logistics, and more.

An economic exchange and cooperation meeting was also held on Sept 10 by the Sanya Central Business District, one of the 11 key industrial parks of the Hainan FTP. Sanya made strategic partnerships with Nanning's Wuxiang New District, the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park, Singapore's Maxbond Asia Pacific Group (MAP), the Guangxi Baota Investment Group, and the Taihuitong Indonesia Project in order to foster external connections and facilitate further cooperation in terms of data, talents and finance.
