More than 130 representatives from the Hainan government, enterprises and industrial parks are attending the 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), which is held at the China National Convention Center and Shougang Park in Beijing from Sept 2 to 7.
The CIFTIS is one of the three major exhibition platforms for China's opening-up as well as a big stage for all regions in China to promote business opportunities in services trade. This year's CIFTIS is themed "Towards Digital Future and Service Driven Development."
The Hainan Pavilion introduces the Hainan Free Trade Port's preferential policies, development achievements of services trade as well as the Hainan FTP's investment opportunities in key areas and key industrial parks through various forms of videos, pictures and words.
Before the opening of the CIFTIS, China's first negative list for cross-border trade in services took effect in the Hainan FTP, so the promotion of services trade opportunities becomes the focus of the Hainan Pavilion. The pavilion is showing investment opportunities in Hainan in the fields of the digital economy, international education, medical health, business services, exhibition economy, transportation services and modern finance.
Concurrently, Hainan is showcasing exhibitions by Hainan Ecological Software Park and Sanya TCM Hospital at Shougang Park, which presents investment opportunities in health services, telecommunications and computer and information services.
