Sanya, Hainan province is scheduled to host the 2021 Hainan International Diving Festival in April, according to a special summit recently held at Wuzhizhou Island.
The festival, which will last until summer, will feature a series of events such as shows by 1,000 renowned divers, the Sanya Underwater Photography Competition, diving forums and marine-themed public welfare activities.
In addition, the event will also explore the market prospects of diving tourism, discuss diving safety control, share views on the integration of diving with ocean protection and enhance diving tourism operation, management and promotion.
