The Hainan delegation to the National People's Congress has submitted five motions and raised six suggestions, all of which are in the name of the delegation, during the fourth session of the 13th NPC.

The motions focus on the amendment of the Law on Practicing Doctors and the Railway Law, the formulation of the Procuratorate and Public Interest Litigation Law, and the amendment of the Supervision Law and the Criminal Procedure Law.

The six suggestions cover proposals to establish the Yazhou Bay National Laboratory in the Hainan Free Trade Port; to support the expansion project of the G98 roundabout highway Greater Sanya section; to support settlements and the withdrawal of artificial commercial forests and small hydropower in the Hainan Tropical Rain Forest National Park; to establish a more open, international scientific and technological cooperation management system; to support Hainan in hosting the Boao Forum for Asia Global Tourism Forum Conference; and to implement multiple measures to optimize population fertility policies and deal with an aging society.

At present, the Hainan delegation's proposals on behalf of individuals - or in the name of the delegation - are being submitted to the NPC. The suggestions put forward focus on the construction of the Hainan FTP, environmental protection, rural revitalization, and people's livelihood protection, collectively reflecting issues that are closely related to the vital interests of the people and are of great concern to society.
