Hainan has launched a campaign to encourage people to correct inappropriate English signs in public places. This campaign has aroused the interests of many residents, including Alex Whitton from the UK.

Alex has lived in Hainan for over three years and he likes the island province very much.

He said that inappropriate signage can be confusing, so he contributed to the campaign with the hope of making Hainan a better place to live.
