As one of the 17 main activities of the 21st Hainan Island Carnival, the Hainan International Beer Festival will be held at Visun Marina in Sanya from Dec 24 to Jan 2.
The 10-day event will be the only beer festival hosted in China during the winter and will create a special coastal city beer atmosphere through the combination of dazzling lightshows on the land with yacht activities on the sea.

According to organizers, the festival will feature various activities like yacht cruises, surfing activities, singing performances, drone shows, and fireworks displays.
Visun Marina is very similar to Clarke Quay in Singapore and is an iconic calling card for Sanya's yacht industry and a hot venue for nighttime consumption activities, said Wang Jiansheng, head of the Hainan Tourism Research Institute. He added that the combination of the yacht industry with the winter beer festival will generate new tourism products and help boost the nighttime economy in Sanya.
