The Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture organized a group of local tourism commodity enterprises to participate in the 15th China Yiwu Cultural and Tourism Products Trade Fair, which opened on Nov 8 in Yiwu, the world's leading small commodities market that is located in East China's Zhejiang province.

The companies possess distinctive local elements, represent Hainan's profound culture, as well as have a certain production scale and market influence.

The exhibition area for intangible cultural heritages and tourism features national intangible cultural items from over 10 provinces in China, including Hainan's Li Brocade, with a special zone set up displaying spinning, dyeing, weaving, and embroidery techniques.

Hainan also showcased its rich tourism products at the expo, such as Li Brocade, coconut jelly, Hainan agarwood, the province's cultural and innovative items, as well as tasty local wine and tea, many of which have won awards at China Special Tourism Commodities Competitions in recent years.

The fair is co-organized by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, as well as the People's Government of Zhejiang Province.
