The shipping industry in the Hainan Free Trade Port has seen tremendous growth since the release of the Overall Plan for the Construction of Hainan Free Trade Port three months ago, with the Port of Yangpu welcoming vessels with increasingly larger deadweight.

To date, Hainan province has fully ensured inter-departmental connections in the process of ship certificate application, striving to offer smooth, efficient, and convenient government services. The 17 maritime documents, including ship ownership registration certificate and ship nationality certificate, can be obtained on site on the day of application.

The maritime department in Hainan will further improve "all-in-one" services, as well as explore the full implementation of the removal of restrictions on foreign ownership proportions of vessels and related supporting shipping policies.
