The Hainan Free Trade Port (Sanya) Forum for International Investment was held in Sanya from Sept 19 to 20, offering global investors a chance to learn about the opportunities brought by the construction of the free trade port.
The forum attracted more than 300 scholars and entrepreneurs from China's top 500 foreign trade companies, as well as more than 20 foreign chambers of commerce in China.

It focused on international trade, the medical and health industry, as well as high-tech and other industrial fields, displaying Sanya's investment status, explaining its market investment rules, and detailing its plans for the high-quality construction of a free trade port. It served as a pragmatic cooperation platform for Chinese and foreign investors.
Roundtable sessions and an investment environment introduction conference were held, while guests were also invited to conduct inspection tours to key industrial parks in Sanya.
At the investment environment introduction conference held on Sept 20, the Sanya investment promotion bureau and the four major industrial parks made a presentation to introduce Hainan FTP policies, as well as promoted key parks. In addition, 14 companies inked cooperation agreements with Sanya.
