Hainan boosts image at 2020 CIFTIS

Southern China's Hainan province set up three major exhibition halls at the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), which opened in Beijing on Sept 4.

The exhibition halls are located at three areas of the fair, namely the Comprehensive Exhibition Area, the Tourism Service Exhibition Area, and the Cultural Service Exhibition Area.

The preferential policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP), service trade innovation and development results, as well as key areas and investment opportunities in key parks of Hainan are all displayed through various forms, such as videos, pictures, and text, in the Comprehensive Exhibition Area.

Through a series of promotional photo exhibitions of 10 major tourism products, Hainan is showcasing its tourism resources, such as duty-free shopping, health tourism, and rural tourism, at the Tourism Service Exhibition Area, fully demonstrating its tourism image of a tropical island popular for vacations.

Efforts are also being made to demonstrate the results of the province's culture and tourism integration, highlighting key cultural tourism enterprises and projects. The province's high-quality tourism routes, as well as the new achievements, new products, and new features of its cultural industry are being presented, focusing on the promotion of local characteristic cultural and creative products.

Hainan will also hold a promotion conference for the Hainan FTP, showcasing the advantages of its policies and industries, as well as inviting investors at home and abroad to participate in its construction.

The Hainan FTP has already received support from the Ministry of Education at the fair to conduct a pilot program in education opening-up and high-quality development.
