The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has recently given the green light to Haikou, capital city of Hainan province, to set up a special bureau for entry and exit of international communication services.

Declared by China Mobile Communications Group, the administration marks a new breakthrough for the development in international communication services during the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

The administration will improve the layout of China Mobile's transmission network. It will also restructure private line service between Hong Kong, Macao, and the Chinese mainland, as well as between China and countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.

It will also enhance international data transmission ability in the Hainan Free Trade Port, which lays a stable foundation for the province's future construction of an international information communication hub.

Moreover, it directly drives development of related industries based on the network, as well as expand the span of communication resources and businesses to promote exchanges, boosting cooperation and the interconnection between investment, trade, finance, and education.
