The nightlife in China's tropical city of Sanya has led the country in returning back to normal during the second quarter of 2020, according to a report recently released by Baidu Maps and the College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University.
The report aims to reveal the vitality and tourism level of the nation's urban populations based on the location big data on the Baidu Maps' open platform.
Due to the progress made in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic, the nightlife in China has been gradually recovering. According to the data, the top three cities in the Q2 nightlife recovery index in 2020 are Sanya, Haikou, and Nanning in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
