Wenchang International Aerospace City is the first coastal launch base in China, with its starting area consisting of Bamen Bay West Area and the Aerospace Supercomputing Industry Area.
To facilitate people's work and life in Wenchang, projects for the construction of road networks, exhibition centers, talent apartments, resettlement areas for demolition, industrial service centers, gym centers, and schools will be launched.
Also, enterprises will be supported in a variety of aspects, including fiscal policies, stable financing mechanism, industry funds, flexible land-use, improved public services, and institutional innovation incentives.
This park aims to be a major scientific and technological innovation industrial base in the aerospace field, a space technology innovation strategic industrial base, an integrative innovation demonstration industrial base, an aerospace international cooperation industrial base, as well as an aerospace supercomputing center.
