Medical service

The imbalance of medical resource allocation and the weak capacity of community level healthcare institutions have been a consistent concern of the public.

"It is the bottleneck that restrains our country to achieve the tiered diagnosis and treatment model, as well as mutual referal system," said Chen Piao, Party chief of a village in Lingshui Li autonomous county.

"Relevant departments should explore proper approval standards and specifications for the medical artificial intelligence (AI) industry, accelerate the formulation of related policies and payment models, as well as boost virtuous development by building a sustainable business model," he added.

Elderly care

To deal with the challenge of an aging society, Yin Shun, head of the Hainan Buddhist Association made suggestions on establishing a smart elderly-care service system.

His suggestions included that the government should provide more fiscal subsidies for AI elderly-care service products and platforms, accelerate the establishment of the supply chain of smart communities to ensure the maximize use of elderly care resources, as well as develop a group of highly skilled researchers and high-level service personnel by establishing related majors in universities.
