Baoting hosts cultural heritage show to mark Sanyuesan Festival

Baoting Li and Miao autonomous county hosted a special activity on March 24 to display Hainan's intangible cultural heritages, as well as mark the Sanyuesan Festival, a traditional event observed by ethnic groups that falls on the third day of the third month in the lunar Chinese calendar. 

Held at Binglanggu Li & Miao Cultural Heritage Park, the event showcased the traditional arts and crafts of ethnic groups in Hainan, such as the brocade of the Li people, the embroidery of the Miao people, as well as bamboo and wood instrumental music of Hainan ethic groups. In addition to the on site show, the performances were also made available online for netizens that are interested in Hainan culture.
