South China's island province Hainan has seen zero new novel coronavirus cases in the past 56 hours, according to the latest release from the Hainan Provincial Health Commission on Feb 17.
As of 8:00 on Feb 17, a total of 162 novel coronavirus cases were confirmed in Hainan, with 19 classified as being in serious condition. Four deaths and 52 discharged cases were reported in the province as of that time.
