A patient who was confirmed to be infected by the novel coronavirus was cured and released from Sanya Central Hospital on Jan 29 after comprehensive treatment, according to the Hainan Commission of Health.
The patient, who comes from Wuhan in Hubei province, arrived at Sanya Phoenix International Airport on Jan 21 and had a fever and cough the following day. After being confirmed to carry the novel coronavirus at Hainan Hospital of PLA General Hospital at 4 pm on Jan 22, he was transferred to Sanya Central Hospital for quarantine and treatment at 11 pm on Jan 23.
