A special ceremony was held on Jan 20 to mark the release of a brand-new logo of Boao Hope City, which is a medical and tourism pilot zone aiming to explore a new growth model for China's healthcare sector with focuses on international medical and tourism services, low-carbon communities, as well as clusters of international organizations.

The new logo uses coconut tree elements to show the geographic location of the zone, as well as applies purple and green in the visual design. Supplemented by its Chinese and English names in black lettering, the logo depicts the unique features of the Hainan zone.
