A special livestream trade fair featuring distinctive Hainan agricultural products and specialties was held on Jan 20, with New Zealand national Joshua Crosbie invited to be a host.

Currently a guest host of Hainan International Media Center, Crosbie has been living and studying in Hainan for many years. He has great interest in poverty alleviation stories in Hainan after witnessing the rapid changes in the island province since the construction of the Hainan Pilot Free Trade Zone (Port).

Some 12 products, including coconut essence oil, coconut oil and papaya cream, coconut oil cream, mulberry wine, Lingao seafood, as well as Danzhou duck eggs, were among his list of recommendations.
