China's renowned tropical city and popular tourist destination Sanya is slated to host the 10th Hainan Rendez-Vous on Dec 13-16 -- featuring an international feast of well-known brands in yachting, aviation, limousines, the arts, fashion and other premium fields.
The annual event is celebrated as China's largest luxury yacht show and one of the world's most comprehensive exhibitions for the international luxury lifestyle brand industries.
A name card event for Sanya, the Hainan Rendez-Vous represents the city's flourishing exhibition industry development, according to Sanya Vice Mayor Chen Tiejun.
Sanya will make full use of its tourism resources and business environment and encourage the event to spotlight yachting, the arts and quality of life exhibitions to further boost modern exhibition services and promote international trade, added the vice mayor.
In the future, as Chen noted, Sanya will be dedicated to the construction of centers for yacht tourism, events operation, yacht maintenance, industry regulation, yacht training and trade. The city will strive to cultivate new hotspots for tourist spending, improve services quality and the level of internationalization and build Sanya into an international yachting tourism destination.
