The ardor of foodies in Hainan is set to be ignited from Nov 22 to 25 as delicious food from across the world will be showcased in Haikou at the Hainan International Tourism and Food Expo, one of the key activities of the 2019 Hainan International Tourism Island Carnival.
Divided into 22 exhibition areas, the expo spans three halls and one street, covering hundreds of types of food, snacks, drinks, agricultural products, as well as international and domestic specialties.
During the expo, the 2019 World Tourism Food Development Cooperation Forum and the World Tourism Food Alliance Inaugural Conference will simultaneously been held, with experts from world-renowned food industries, cultural celebrities, healthy food experts, and business leaders gathering to talk about hot issues, such as restaurant industry branding in Hainan and food safety.
In addition to the main venue of Hainan International Conference and Exhibition Center, Haikou residents will be able to enjoy culinary delicacies from around the world during the festival at three major sub-venues.
