Sanya, a renowned tourist city in Hainan province, hosted a special promotional session at the 25th World Route Development Forum, which was held in Adelaide, Australia from Sept 21 to 24.
The World Route Development Forum is a global event where airlines, airports, and tourism authorities gather to discuss route networks.
During the event, Sanya introduced its tourism attractions and routes to over 3,000 people. It strived to offer a platform for overseas travel agencies and international airlines to carry out cooperation with local companies.
A special Sanya booth was set up at the event, promotional videos were played, and publicity materials were offered to forum guests.
The city also highlighted its efficient airport services and diverse minority cultures during the promotion event.
Matchmaking events between Sanya's tourism enterprises and representatives from overseas airlines and airports, such as S7 Airlines and the St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport, were also organized to boost cooperation among the aviation and tourism industries.
