A delegation of five members from the Chinese Culture Center of Nigeria was treated to a unique experience in Hainan's tropical forests on Aug 26, as the members were invited to a communication and study tour to Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone in Baoting on that day.

Led by guides from the tourist attraction, the Chinese culture lovers went deep into the rainforest and explored its six wonders, as well as rare animal and plants species of the rainforest.

Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone, located in Baoting county about 35 kilometers away from downtown Sanya, is a representative of Hainan's five tropical rainforests. The name "Yanoda" means "one, two, three" in the local dialect and also means "hello," expressing amicability and blessing. The six wonders in the zone include the giant banyan, centennial old vines, "living fossil" alsophila podophylla, huge glossy ganoderma, "cold-blooded killer" artiaris toxicaria, and wild arenga pinnata.

"This trip to Yanoda is really fun, and the place is not only beautiful, but also interesting," said Augustine, one of the members of the delegation.

As a model tourism site of the Greater Sanya Tourism Economic Circle, Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone has been exploring rainforest culture and local folk culture, creatively rolling out a series of cultural tourism products in sightseeing, and interactive activities, as well as experiential, leisure, and vacation services. It also boasts well-equipped tourism facilities and offers excellent services.
