Max-Constantine Radziuk, CEO of SemProGroup Hainan Co Ltd and whose Chinese name is Kang Jinsheng, hails from Russia and has been living in Hainan for nine years. He has started his business on the island province and has consistently dedicated himself in increasing Hainan's exposure in Russia.

Currently the longtime resident of Hainan has been engaged in preparation work to welcome the delegations from Grodno of Belarus and Krasnoyarsk Krai of Russia and the upcoming 10th China International Creative Design Week.

Radziuk fell in love with the island province of Hainan the moment he arrived in 2010. "When I was young, I hoped to live in a city by the sea," he said, adding that Hainan's blue sky, sunny weather, and friendly people have all impressed him. Two years later he settled down in Hainan and gradually integrated into the local life.

For tourists from Russia, in addition to the province's safety and friendliness, its gourmet food, cultural customs, and folk cultures are also enticing, said Radziuk. He created a Russian-language website introducing Hainan, integrated his political and business resources in Russian-speaking regions, as well as devoted himself to promoting Hainan's tourism culture in Russian-speaking regions and boosting Hainan's international cooperation and exchanges with these places.

Every international exchange and cooperation program, tourism culture promotion and art exchange has helped him know Hainan better and love the place deeper, according to Radziuk, who noted that his work and life here has been packed with fun and passion.

For Radziuk, he felt that the biggest change in his life is that he often need to thinks about the problems he faces from Hainan's point of view. He has studied how to better promote Hainan tourism and culture to the international market, feeling like a member of the big Hainan "family".

At the symposium on the introduction of foreign talents held by Hainan in June this year, Radziuk provided a detailed plan on reengineering Hainan tourism brands and systematically analyzed Hainan's promotion targeting Russia, which was based on his living and working experiences in Hainan.

"My wife and I have already settled in Hainan. The island province has advantages and promising prospects, although there are some imperfections. As long as it is a suggestion good for Hainan's construction and development, I will make it without reservation," he said.
