From January to July this year, the container throughput at Yangpu Xiaochantan Terminal reached 241,100 TEUs, up by 57.08 percent year-on-year. The foreign container throughput stood at 16,000 TEUs at the terminal.
The port and shipping industry in Yangpu Economic Development Zone is growing at a rapid rate. Currently, it has operated six routes for foreign trade and 14 routes for domestic trade.
