The report evaluated the indexes of leisure in 290 Chinese cities in six major categories: city image and reputation, leisure space and environment, leisure economy and industry, leisure facilities and services, leisure life and consumption, as well as tourism attractiveness.

The report's results showed that Shanghai, Sanya, Beijing, Zhuhai, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Xiamen, Hangzhou, Xi'an, and Lhasa ranked as the top 10 leisure cities among all evaluated Chinese cities.
