A total of 82 young robot enthusiasts from 52 teams aged between six and 13 years old gathered at Haikou's Changying Wonderland on Aug 3 for a robotics tryouts.
Held by the Haikou Sports Federation, the contest selected the winning team for the champion challenge of the World Robot Conference 2019, which is scheduled to be held in Beijing from Aug 20 to 25.
