The 34th China Adolescents Science & Technology Innovation Contest concluded in Macao on July 26, and the Hainan delegation won a total of 15 medals at the event for their outstanding sci-tech innovation entries.
Among the prize winners, Zhou Daofeng from Ding'an Siyuan Experimental School won first prize with his specially designed "garbage collector". Cai Yijia from a primary school in Tunchang county, as well as Jianghe Feifei and Zhang Xuwei from Hainan Middle School won second prize with their designs of "portable door suction" and "robots used to examine floor tiles".
