Images of bright Five-Starred Red Flag were displayed on the large screens of high-rises along the Binhai Road in Haikou on the evening of July 25.
The impressive light show illuminated the night and inspired patriotism among the citizens by the sidewalks. Many of them began to take pictures and hum the patriotic lyrics.
Mass activities in a variety of forms with patriotism at its core have been launched across the country in 2019 for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
