South China's Hainan province recently sent a delegation of cultural and tourism enterprises, as well as related government departments in the cities of Haikou, Sanya, and Danzhou to Taiwan to take part in a travel fair.
The 2019 Cross-Straits Taipei Summer Travel Exhibition kicked off at Taipei World Trade Center from July 19 to 22, with more than 20 provinces from the Chinese mainland participating to promote their tourism resources and products in Taiwan.

The exhibition area for Hainan covered an area of 101 square meters and was under the theme of "Sunshine Hainan, Holiday Paradise". The exhibition area was decorated in blue and white hues, and featured artificial props including coconuts, waves, beach chairs, and sun umbrellas to fully display the tourism characteristics of the province. The zone attracted many visitors to stop by and admire the charm of Hainan.
The staff of the Hainan booth also distributed promotional materials, played promotional videos, and introduced visitors to Hainan's history and culture, tourism features, as well as its high-end hotels.
