The Vocie of Wanquanhe, a chorus from Qionghai in Hainan province will departed on July 2 for the International Johannes Brahms Choir Festival in Germany, after preparing for the performance for half a year.
To embody the province's characteristic culture and to display the happy lives of local people, the chorus chose five songs for the competition including Beautiful Grassland - My Home and Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon.

According to the chorus director, most of the songs showcase ethnic culture and it is meaningful to bring them to an international stage.
To perform at their best, the chorus increased the number and duration of their rehearsals from two hours each twice a week to four hours each four times a week.
Wang Yangning, a chorus member, said that the performance at the international music festival represented Qionghai and Hainan province, and all members strove to put on a good show with full preparations.
