Themed "New Era, New Revolution, and New Industry," the World New Energy Vehicle Congress 2019 got underway in Boao, Hainan Province on July 1 and will run for three days.
The congress is not only an annual event for discussing global automotive transformation and upgrading, but also a summit for exploring technological innovation and green development.

The event invited researchers and industry experts from around the world to explore new trends in new energy vehicles (NEVs). It also invited senior officials from domestic and foreign auto companies, as well as representatives of new energy auto-related enterprises to give speeches and participate in dialogues and exchanges.
During the following days, conferences and advanced technology displays will be held and test drives will also be carried out. The congress will also highlight the deep integration of the automobile, energy, transportation, information, and communication industries with the smart city construction.
A special exhibition area has been set up to display advance technologies and products in new energy automobile and related industries. The exhibits include new energy vehicles, battery systems for NEVs, NEV motors, automotive electronics, automotive new materials, and smart network technology.
