The Wines of Chile and Shanghai-based Lam International will jointly develop an immersive culture park in Hainan province.
"The Chile Experience (park) will bring a taste of Chile to our Chinese friends by not only showcasing Chilean wines, food, and other authentic products from Chile, but also featuring immersive high-tech attractions that will connect our guests with the culture of Chile," Wines of Chile representative Julio Alonso says at a Chilean wine roadshow in Beijing on April 25.
The project aims to strengthen the friendship between the peoples of Chile and China and will bring together Chilean culture, products and investment opportunities.

Speaking about the event, Lam Yau Sun, a senior official with the Shanghai company, says, "The Chile Experience truly demonstrates the spirit of Belt and Road spirit. It will be Chile's home away from home, and we hope our project will incentivize more Chinese to visit Chile and vice versa."
At the same time, Chile will target the Chinese high-end wine market, which has shown an increasingly strong demand for Chilean wine in recent years.
