Representatives from hundreds of enterprises assembled at the Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort in Sanya on March 7 to discuss the future development of the tropical fruit industry, focusing on mangos in particular.
The event they participated in was the 2019 1st Tropical Fruit Industrial Expo and also the Sanya International Mango Industrial Conference.
In addition to discussions and seminars, attendees also had a chance to taste and purchase various fruits, such as mangos, wax apples, cherry tomatoes, rambutan and pitaya.
The three-day event was aimed at promoting Hainan's tropical fruit and propelling local industrial development.
