South Korean JK Plastic Surgery Hospital opens in Hainan

The launch ceremony for the South Korean JK Plastic Surgery Hospital Boao International Treatment Center was held at the main venue of the Boao Forum for the Asia International Convention Center in Hainan on Jan 6. 

According to Chen Mohan, dean of the Boao Yiling Life Care Center, South Korean experts began offering plastic surgery services at the new treatment center on Jan 2. Over 20 people received plastic surgery there from Jan 3 to 5, all with positive results.

The South Korean JK Plastic Surgery Hospital established the treatment center at the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone on Dec 20 with strong support from the local government.

Joo Kweon, president of the South Korean JK Plastic Surgery Hospital, first visited Hainan 13 years ago. He was impressed by the tremendous changes taking place on the island and optimistic about Hainan's market potential. He also showed confidence in the Boao Yiling Life Care Center, believing it a trustworthy partner with quality equipment, technology and management.

Anti-aging and eyelid surgeries will be the two main focuses of the new center. It will also serve as an example of cooperation in international high-end medical tourism between China and South Korea, with the aim of attracting more high-quality medical resources, enterprises and tourists. 

The South Korean JK Plastic Surgery Hospital, founded in 1998, was the first plastic surgery institution certified by the CCM consumer service center in South Korea. As a top hospital in the industry, it has a great reputation across the world for its high quality and strong safety controls.
